Las Cruces Running Club (LCRC) was founded to promote and maintain an active running community in the Las Cruces area. Since 2011 Las Cruces Running Club (LCRC) has been the backbone of the Las Cruces running community developing a series of quality annual races run on closed courses. Electric 5k, Back to School, Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot and Super Sunday Road Race are runners events. LCRC provides opportunities for runners of all abilities to meet personal fitness goals through annual running events including the Summer Youth Running Program. In all LCRC produced events youth under 12 are allowed free entry in 1-Mile FunRuns. LCRC established the Summer Youth Running Program receiving stipends from City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Board and also funding the program through profits from our races. This year's Summer Challenge Series of Five 1-Mile races is FREE to youth 8th grade and younger including Back to School run open to everyone, the proceeds of which go to area high school cross-country teams. LCRC recruits members who enjoy running in mutual support and fellowship - Come join us!
